Patron Program 2024
Welcome to my Patron Progam
I am re-launching my Patron Program with the goal of raising money to help support my hard-working team and their families. I definitely couldn’t produce my artwork without everyone’s help!
Did you know that I employ 6 Mexican women in my studio? Sometimes we have an intern and it grows to 7. Making large-scale environmental art requires many hands. Being an international artist is thrilling…and expensive and my biggest expense is my studio team. Meet some of them here.
Meet the Studio Team
What they do
The Feather Team is comprised of Alicia, Samantha and Lourdes. They help me create thousands of feathers using silk-screening, and cutting.
Esperanza and Eunice are on the Sewing Team and they sew the feathers and prepare them for cutting.
Sandra and Tyler head up the Administrative Team and we often have a student intern to help produce grant and exhibition proposals, website updates and endless social media and exhibition outreach.

The AdministrativeTeam

Icelandic Textile Residency
Wait, you want to help me directly? I need funding for my upcoming residency at the Icelandic Textile Center, where I will spend the month of September developing new ideas and work.
Let me give you an idea about how much the residency will cost.
Room/Studio = $870; Travel/Shipping = $900; Food/Expenses = $500
Total Cost of Residency = $2,270 (in US dollars)
