International Fiber Arts IX

This is the 23rd in an ongoing series of triennial exhibitions curated this year by Sonya Clark, Distinguished Fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University and Jane Sauer, Artist and Gallerist. This exhibition was originally held at Contemporary Crafts in Pittsburgh, PA in May – Aug 2019 and is now traveling to the Fort Collins Museum of Art. Dates: May 22- July 26, 2020

MACO – 2020 -2021

About: The Rufino Tamayo Museum in Mexico City is presenting their prestigious Bienal. The touring show will begin at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca (MACO). 51 artists were accepted to the exhibition and my piece, Abandon has been chosen. There will be three winners whose work will be added to the permanent collection of the Tamayo Museum, which is the final stop of the show in 2021.  Additional venues will be announced as Covid restrictions are lifted.

RECYCLABILITY SALON: World Textile Association Biennial Fiber Conference

About: The theme of this year’s International Biennial Fiber Conference is AIRE.  The Recyclability Salon will feature 57 artists addressing the theme of recycling in their artwork.
