About: This inaugural international exhibition was juried by Charlotte Yde from Denmark and Hannah Lamb from the UK. The curators are Glenys Mann and Nonie Sutcliffe, the organizers of Fibre Arts Australia. The show aims to present the most innovative contemporary textiles.

I am thrilled that Kimono was chosen for Art Textile Biennale 2021. This inaugural international exhibition was juried by Charlotte Yde from Denmark and Hannah Lamb from the UK. The curators are Glenys Mann and Nonie Sutcliffe, the organizers of Fibre Arts Australia.

The show aims to present the most innovative contemporary textiles. In the video you can see my piece flanked by notables like Eszter Bornemisza from Hungary (who won first prize) Caren Garfen from the UK (who won the Glenys Mann award), Clarissa Callesen from the US (and recent 360 Xochi Quetzal Resident artist) and Ema Shin from Australia.
