Exhibition Title: Kinship with Birds in Plight and Flight

About: Women Eco Artists Dialogue (WEAD) presents Kinship with Birds in Plight and Flight, an online exhibition celebrating conservation successes and work that signals the need for urgent interventions. With birds globally facing challenges due to climate change and habitat loss, juror, muralist, scientific illustrator, and founder of Ink Dwell, Jane Kim, carefully selected 30 artworks not only based on their visual appeal, but by the sentiment of the statements provided. With the emergency state of the climate crisis, Kim emphasizes that “the practice of art making is critical for humanity, with intention and impact ranging from therapeutic to educational”.

Dates: October 15, 2023 — January 31, 2024

Meet the Artists Panel III: December 5, 2023 (visit WEAD website for more information)
