I am re-launching my Patron Program with the goal of raising money to help support my hard-working team and their families. I definitely couldn’t produce my artwork without everyone’s help!

Meet the Studio Team
What they do
Did you know that I employ 6 Mexican women in my studio? Sometimes we have an intern and it grows to 7.
Making large-scale environmental art requires many hands. Being an international artist is thrilling…and expensive and my biggest expense is my studio team. Meet some of them here.
The Feather Team
The Feather Team is comprised of Alicia, Samantha and Lourdes. They help me create thousands of feathers using silk-screening, and cutting.

Daily cost = $30; Weekly cost = $150; Monthly cost = $600;
Annual cost = $7,200 (in US dollars)
The Sewing Team
Esperanza and Eunice are on the Sewing Team and they sew the feathers and prepare them for cutting.

The AdminTeam
Sandra and Tyler head up the Admin Team and we often have a student intern to help produce grant and exhibition proposals, website updates and endless social media and exhibition outreach.

In Closing
Few living artists are paid a living wage for our work. I would be gratified to direct your generosity to either help me fund my residency to Iceland or to my studio team. Their hard work makes it possible for me to create the art of my heart and dreams.
