Environmental Duality in Turbulence: Birds/Beauty/Language/Loss at the Block Gallery
Reviewed by Samantha Oleschuk
Here is a truly poetic art review of my current solo exhibition of my environmental fiber art at the Block Gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina. The reviewer, Samantha Oleschuk, writes for the Cultural Voice of North Carolina (CVNC) and is a recent graduate from Appalachian State College in Boone, NC.
I had shared news about my show with another colleague located in Winston-Salem and she passed it along to Samantha. I love our networks, especially women helping women.
Samantha obviously spent a lot of time at the exhibition and drew some new and meaningful connections. While it is exciting to have a show reviewed, it is even more important when the reviewer brings their fresh thinking and heart to the writing. Samantha has done both.
