Remnants 12 is part of my ongoing Remnants series in which I use scraps of fabric from other larger projects. We all need to reduce our environmental footprint and this is my way of not adding to the waste stream. This fan shape is made from fiber, encaustic, paint and oilstick  and waxed linen and wire thread create a fringe at the top and within the piece.
