Remnants 13 is part of my ongoing Remnants series in which I use scraps of fabric from other larger projects. We all need to reduce our environmental footprint and this is my way of not adding to the waste stream. I used a quilt format and the squares are made from fiber, encaustic, paint and oilstick and tied onto a raw silk background with waxed linen thread which add texture to this piece of fiberart.
