In this piece of fiberart, I have swept the triangle into a curving shape. The feathers are made from fiber, encaustic, paint and oilstick and the wrapped stick which anchors the piece at the top evokes African masks. To contrast Plumage 6, I added waxed linen and wire thread to add a haze of texture over the piece.
