I took the triangle to a new and larger dimension for this piece of fiberart, which looks like a bird spreading its wings. The feathers are made from fiber, encaustic, paint and oilstick and I added waxed linen and wire thread to add texture. A curved wrapped stick anchors the piece at the top and evokes African masks and wingspan.
