Heavy use of oilstick on fiber distinguishes this piece, which is part of a series of triangles. I am starting to experiment with what eventually become feathers by using some horsetail in the center of the piece. I use rough sewing with waxed linen thread to attach the center element to the background. The stitched leather at the top of the piece will morph into wrapped sticks that frequently appear in later pieces.
