Gold Feather Triangle 2 – Framed

Gold Feather Triangle 2 heralds the return of my triangles, however, using the new recycled plastic feathers instead of the fiber and encaustic used in the past. In this piece, which is primarily gold with a red fringe, I have used scraps of feathers from other pieces in my ongoing effort to shrink my own studio footprint.

Materials: hand screen-printing on recycled plastic, hand and machine sewing, wrapping, sisal, waxed linen thread
