Ropa Clasica – Framed

Ropa Clasica 1 continues my long exploration of using women’s garments as a source of inspiration. This piece is primarily gold with black and red highlights. I have used three different kinds of feathers: round, curved and long tail feathers. The neckline is articulated by a gold painted scrap of cording that is wrapped into the piece with waxed linen.
