In an effort to reduce her footprint, Deborah Kruger uses scraps from her larger pieces for an ongoing series of smaller pieces called Remnants. Many of these are mounted on wrapped sticks and all of them use her feathers made from fiber, encaustic, oilstick and paint. Remnants 21 also incorporates horsehair and tiny slivers of trimmings from other projects. Nothing goes to waste!
