In the Plumage pieces, Deborah Kruger explores a long, elegant vertical shape. All the feathers are made from fiber, encaustic, oilstick and paint and evoke a pelt of feathers. At the top of Plumage 2 there is a wide wrapped stick that anchors the piece.
