Exciting environmental artist Deborah Kruger exhibiting at Tennessee Tech University
COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- AVIANTO, an exhibition of Deborah Kruger’s environmental artwork is on display in the Joan Derryberry Gallery at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee. AVIANTO focuses on Deborah Kruger’s recent work, which is motivated by the extinction of bird species, and the loss of indigenous languages around the world. Climate change and relentless consumption contribute to these problems. Saturated colors characterize Kruger’s work and often mimic bird plumage. She hopes to raise awareness, and inspire action about these impending losses that affect all of us…..
Avianto Attracts International Press Coverage!
For the second time in two years, ArtDaily.Com has covered one of my solo exhibitions (the last one was in Mexico City). This art news service has a massive international reach. They have covered all the key points relevant to my current environmental solo show, Avianto, currently on view at the Joan Derryberry Gallery at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN.
I am so grateful that my abstract art, which shines a light on declining worldwide populations of birds is reaching so many people through not only exhibitions but also generous news coverage like this.
