Exhibition Title:  DRAGS AND WOOPS, THE POETICS OF RUPTURE

Curator:  Dr. Milagros Bello, an internationally recognized curator, art professor and art critic, chose Deborah’s environmental artwork titled ‘Descent’ for the exhibition.

About:  MIA Curatorial Projects is a contemporary art space located in the center of the Miami art scene. The gallery focuses on innovative art practices and new art production.

The curatorial concept for Drags and Woops, The Poetics of Rupture is interruptions or fissures, where the unforeseen enters and unsettles. As a result, the artworks breathe in a state of tension. The exhibition emphasizes a heterogeneity and diversity inhabiting the unstable poetics of pull and rupture.
