Black Circle – Framed

Black Circle is part of a four piece series of small work that is inspired by the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon in Mexico City. These small square pieces are built with small round feathers cut from leftover pieces of other work and thus part of my ongoing effort to recycle my own work. This piece features a round gold feathered circle surrounded by black feathers on the inside and outside of the circular shape.

Materials: hand screen-printing on recycled plastic, sewing
