Plumas 1 – Unframed

Plumas 1 is a long vertical piece featuring mostly dark burgundy and red feathers made from recycled plastic, hand screen printed with images of endangered birds and overprinted with text about bird extinction including excerpts of Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring. This piece is constructed with a hidden zipper allowing for easy transportation.
