The dream becomes a reality… When I first moved to Lake Chapala from Massachusetts and discovered the Train Station Museum. I used to sit in
Habitatis one of the pieces based on the map of Cambodia. I chose this map because it is the last remaining habitat of the elegant and nearly extinct Bengal Florican. The map adds another layer of meaning to the piece that is built with feathers fabricated from recycled plastic bags and printed with images of endagered birds and endangered languages.

Curator Micheal Swank had his eye on an additional gallery space in his Colonia Juarez building for two years and when the space became available
