Exhibition Title: LOGOS

About: Italian curator, Barbara Pavan, has assembled an exhibition in Perugia of 9 textile artists who are all working with text. The title of the show, Logos, has historical meetings that stretch back through history. By working with text, even if it is not strictly narrative, all of these artists are referring to identity, spirituality, memory and the meanings of life that defy language. 

My first huipil-inspired piece, titled Ropa Blanca, will be on exhibit in LOGOS. This is my third exhibition in Italy.

Opening Reception: Saturday 24, February 2024, 5:00 p.m.

SCD Textile & Art Gallery Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.  

Location: SCD Textile & Art Studio, Via Donato Bramante 22N, 06122 Perugia, Italia.

Accessibility: SCD Gallery is located on the ground loor and no stairs to enter. The doors and washrooms are  accessible.
